Methamphetamine
Pamphlet

This pamphlet addresses the origins of Methamphetamine. It’s manufactured in illicit labs staffed by people with little or no knowledge of chemistry, and its destructive and potentially deadly acceleration of body functions.
Meth abuser's practice of staying awake on Meth for days on end without eating or sleeping, called a "run," followed by a severe crash is described, along with the frequent aftereffect of Methamphetamine psychosis -- a condition similar to schizophrenia.
The short- and long-term physical and psychological effects of Meth abuse are listed, ranging from increased blood pressure to malnutrition, brain and liver damage, fatal kidney and lung disease, permanent psychological problems, stroke and coma.
The pamphlet concludes by urging anyone who know Meth users to get them help as quickly as possible, with the grim observation that "nothing ruins your chances in life quite like a damaged body and mind."
