The hallmark of the Meet Your Future I video series is that real workers in various career fields take viewers on the job with them to experience the realities of the working world first hand.

In each video, a narrator introduces the audience to five professionals who take viewers on the job with them. Each professional speaks directly to the audience about his or her job - how a particular school subject plays a role in it, how the job affects society and what is needed to succeed.

In order to relate the potential career to something in the student’s own experience, it is assigned to the most appropriate of six subjects in the typical high school curriculum – Science, Social Studies, Math, Language Arts, Art/Music and Health/PE.

Careers introduced in "Meet Your Future I" include: Zoo Veterinarian, U.S. Senator, National Park Guide, Rock Musician, Stockbroker and Dentist.

The teacher’s guide and workbooks accompanying each video provide additional materials and activities that expand the students’ knowledge of careers, job interviews and resume writing.
