The dance club, or "rave" scene for teens has given rise to new types of drug abuse as well as rejuvenated some established ones. With "In the Know," you can give teens and adults the facts about the harmful effects of these substances.

In the video, the youthful narrators, and appealing graphics will hold students' attention as they learn that the harm done by club drugs such as Ecstasy, GHB or Rohypnol extend beyond the short- and long-term physical and psychological effects. Thefts and acquaintance rapes can be direct results of a person unwittingly "drugging" their victim with one of these substances. In addition to the new designer drugs, substances like LSD and methamphetamine have found a niche in the club scene.
