This baseball-themed Cover the Bases package encourages youngsters and adults alike to use teamwork in preventing home fires.

The video identifies the three bases of home fire safety: kitchen, heating and electrical systems, and offers fire prevention instructions. Two students use baseball analogies to illustrate the importance all aspects of home fire safety. They teach young people how to prevent fires within the home and what to do in the event of an accident. The final lesson taught in the video is one of protecting your home base by installing smoke alarms and practicing a safe escape plan.

Activity sheets and comic books provide children with fun games and puzzles to help them remember the lessons. They are perfect for young people to take home and share with their friends and family members. Adults are provided with pamphlets that contain all the information needed to keep their families safe. Tattoos and stickers are fun giveaways and serve as a constant reminder about fire safety.
