Acquaintance Rape, Drugs And You
Video

When sex isn’t a mutual affair - it’s rape. This video uses interviews of counselors, survivors, and a detective to warn young people of this terrible violation.
Students learn that rape is not always a danger reserved for dark alleys and deserted streets, as they may previously have believed. Sometimes it turns out to be committed by acquaintances and boyfriends. They also learn the role of drugs (Rohypnol & G.H.B.) in these attacks. Students, especially females, create a working knowledge of sexual assault protection so they protect themselves from becoming victims of acquaintance rape. Accompanying pamphlet available.
