When sex isn’t a mutual affair - it’s rape. This video uses interviews of counselors, survivors, and a detective to warn young people of this terrible violation. Students learn that rape is not always a danger reserved for dark alleys and deserted streets, as they may believe. Sometimes it turns out to be committed by acquaintances and boyfriends. They also learn the role of drugs (Rohypnol & G.H.B.) in these attacks. Young people, especially females, become aware of their surroundings and how to protect themselves from violent sexual assaults so that they will never become a victim of acquaintance rape.
