With Syndistar's Tolerance Series students learn about tolerance and how it should be utilized everyday. This enables them to effectively interact with people who may appear different then them.

The series contains two videos - one for teens and one for adults. The adult video, Teaching Tolerance To Teens, contains a series of interviews with professionals in the education field who speak on various tolerance topics. The film helps adults identify intolerant behavior in order to prevent school violence and keep children safe.

The second video, Tolerance 101, is geared toward the high school student. They learn the importance of practicing tolerance in everyday life, whether it is standing up for someone or refusing to join in on the teasing. Students discover that intolerance could lead to violence within their school causing them to think before they act out against other students.

The teacher's manual offers ideas for group activities that bring students together and integrate tolerance skills into their work. This is a great way to continue discussion on tolerance and other problems of violence in the school. The newsletter for teens and the pamphlet for adults remind the participants of the tolerance program of the important lessons learned so they are able to practice them daily.
