The Teaching Tolerance To Teens Package contains everything needed to start a tolerance education program, including age specific videos and print materials for both adults and teens.

The package offers the latest techniques in helping students become more tolerant. The first video, Teaching Tolerance To Teens, is designed for parents, educators or other authority figures. This film shows adults warning signs of potentially problematic students so they are able to blockade the issue before a violent act occurs. They also discover that intolerance is something learned from peers or at home, not something children are born with. It is taught that kids should begin tolerance education as young as Pre-K so a problem does not have the opportunity to formulate. The video is set up in an interview format where school administrators speak about their personal experiences and beliefs of teaching tolerance to children and teens. Adults gain a realization of the problems faced by young people in school so they are better able to relate and give them the help they need to stop intolerance.

The high school level video, Tolerance 101, teaches teens to gain respect by showing it to others. They learn what tolerance means, how to practice it and how to prevent violent acts in schools. This short film holds the attention of teens by speaking on topics to which young people can relate and using age appropriate diction; equipping them with information they need to make educated life decisions and remain safe in and out of school.

The information presented in each of the videos is further described throughout the pamphlet and newsletter, allowing students to have the tolerance message with them whenever they need a refresher course. The Instructor’s guide helps assist in continued discussion, enhancing any tolerance program.
