Provides an introduction and overview of MegaSkills by Dr. Rich, a question-and-answer session on MegaSkills basics and a presentation designed to enhance parental involvement. The MegaSkills Corner portion of the video challenges teachers to assess and develop their own MegaSkills. The Family Place teaches parents how to continue the process of MegaSkills learning at home.

Family education rolls across ages and grades are discussed in the Instructor's Manual and in the video. Such topics include: School readiness, basic reading skills, language arts, math, continued basic skill development, study skills, helping to define self in relation to peer groups, setting limits and withstanding peer pressures, developing self-reliance and helping to understand and accept adult responsibilities.
